Al-Asabaa Municipality: A team of European experts begins its work today to monitor the repercussions of the fires.

Al-Asabaa, April 8, 2025 (LANA) - A team of European experts from Malta, Finland, and Estonia, which arrived yesterday, Monday, began its work today to monitor the repercussions of the fires that have ravaged the city of Al-Asabaa over the past period.

Al-Asabaa Municipality stated on its official page that the team is currently conducting field inspections and working closely with national cadres, a step that embodies the spirit of joint action to confront natural disasters.

The European experts will work, in cooperation with the National Center for Emergency and Crisis Management team, to assess the environmental and humanitarian damage resulting from the fires and determine the causes of their outbreak. They will also enhance rapid response capabilities and provide technical support in the areas of firefighting and prevention in the future, in partnership with relevant authorities.
