Tripoli, April 4, 2025 (LANA) - The Presidential Council stressed in a statement issued today, Friday, that any movements or transfers of security and military personnel must be conducted based on explicit and prior instructions from the Council and the relevant authorities and within the legal framework.
The Council affirmed in its statement that any action outside this framework constitutes a violation of these instructions, and its perpetrators are subject to legal accountability without exception.
The Council stated in the statement, "Consolidating stability and extending security throughout the country is a top priority, as this is the cornerstone of any political or economic progress," noting its role in fully supervising and directly directing all security and military operations.
The Council called on all parties to strictly adhere to the regulations and instructions governing security and military work, stressing that security is a collective responsibility that cannot be subject to individual interpretations or unilateral decisions that could undermine public stability.
