US tariffs on Libya reach 31%.

Washington, April 3, 2025 (LANA) - US President Donald Trump announced in a speech at the White House on Wednesday that the United States will impose the same tariff rates on all countries as it imposes on Washington, noting that 10% is the lowest tariff rate.
Trump imposed varying rates on Arab countries. Syria was among the Arab countries on which Trump imposed the highest tariffs, at 41%, followed by Iraq at 39%, Libya at 31%, Algeria at 30%, Tunisia at 28%, and Jordan at 20%.
Egypt, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman, Morocco, Sudan, Yemen, Lebanon, and Djibouti were subject to tariffs of 10%.
