Al-Maqroon Power Station Restarts to Supply Affected Areas.

Al-Maqroon, April 3, 2025 (LANA) - Maintenance teams from the Medium Voltage Networks Department completed intensive maintenance work on the 30/11 kV power transformer at Al-Maqroon Power Station, despite heavy rains and during Eid Al-Fitr. The work was carried out in a rapid response to detecting technical faults that affected the stability of the power supply. Field maintenance teams went to the site and conducted a comprehensive inspection to identify the faults, which required precise technical intervention to ensure the efficient and rapid restart of the transformer.

Engineers and technicians braved the difficult weather conditions and continued to work with intensive efforts until the maintenance process was successfully completed, restoring power to the affected areas, ensuring the continuity of essential services.

Residents of the area expressed their appreciation for the efforts of the maintenance teams and the Ministry of Electricity and Renewable Energy, which confirmed its continued implementation of regular maintenance plans and rapid response to emergency breakdowns, as part of its efforts to improve the electrical infrastructure in various areas.
