Tripoli, March 31, 2025 (LANA) - The Libyan people celebrated the first day of Eid al-Fitr today, Monday, praying to God Almighty to bring it back to Libya, filled with security, peace, and brotherhood, and to Muslims around the world with goodness, blessings, and prosperity.
Crowds of worshippers performed Eid prayers today in mosques and public squares, following the fragrant Sunnah of the Prophet.
Libyan preachers called for tolerance and reconciliation on this great day, saying; Allah, in your country, for solidarity and unity to preserve this trust through construction and development, bringing people together, strengthening national cohesion, showing compassion, forgetting grudges, smiling at your brothers, and embracing the language of dialogue and national reconciliation.
Following the prayer, the worshipers exchanged greetings, praying to God to unify the word and strengthen the spirit of love among them, so that they may cooperate and show compassion, and remove all grudges from them, devoting themselves to building their proud, honorable, and generous homeland.
