Derna, March 31, 2025 (LANA) - Worshippers from Derna performed Eid al-Fitr prayers on Monday at the Sahaba Mosque. This is the first prayer since the flood disaster that swept through the city in 2023.
Hurricane Daniel, which struck Derna and other areas in the Green Mountain, caused thousands of casualties and widespread damage to infrastructure, particularly in Derna.
