Tripoli - March 28, 2025 (LANA) - A meeting was held yesterday, Thursday, at the headquarters of the Border Guard Service, attended by the Head of the Service's Affairs Office, the Head of the Organizations Department at the Office of the Minister of Interior, and the Regional Coordinator for the Project to Develop Assistance for the Voluntary Return of Illegal Migrants.

According to the Ministry of Interior, the attendees discussed the increasing number of illegal migrants voluntarily returning to their countries, in addition to exploring ways to enhance cooperation with the International Organization for Migration to develop capacities and procedures related to voluntary return, as part of supporting programs for the voluntary repatriation of illegal migrants.
