Tripoli, March 27, 2025 (LANA) - Minister of Labor and Rehabilitation Ali Al-Abed Al-Rida met with the Chargé d'Affaires of the Embassy of Niger to Libya, Abdelaziz Loli Haro, to discuss the conditions of Nigerien workers and their regulation in accordance with approved laws.

The Minister stressed the importance of registering workers on the "Wafed" digital platform and conducting medical examinations. He called for the issuance of official documents for those wishing to work.

For his part, the Chargé d'Affaires noted the suspension of voluntary repatriation of migrants due to flight restrictions, stressing that the embassy is working to reactivate it.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the Minister expressed Libya's solidarity with Niger following the terrorist attack in the village of Fambita over the past two days.
