Tripoli, March 26, 2025 (LANA) – Director of the Military Medical Service, Ibrahim al-Rais, discussed with the British Military Attaché to Libya, Colonel Matthew Ketterer, arrangements for a training course for trainers to implement intensive training programs for medical personnel working in the Service's field hospitals and medical teams affiliated with the Libyan Army's military units.
This came during a meeting held on Tuesday at the Ministry of Defense headquarters, attended by the Director of Public Relations, Colonel Faraj al-Shamam.
During the meeting, final arrangements were discussed for the start of the training course for trainers to implement intensive training programs for medical personnel working in the Service's field hospitals and for all medical teams affiliated with the Libyan Army's military units.
Al-Rais emphasized the strengthening of relations and joint cooperation between the two countries in the field of military medicine, which will allow for the benefit of British expertise in this field.
The Service indicated that the meeting follows the success of the training course conducted by the British Attaché last November for Service members to enhance their proficiency in tactical field first aid.
