Tripoli, March 26, 2025 (LANA) – The embassies of the United States, Britain, Italy, Germany, and France affirmed their full support for the Audit Bureau and its staff.

The embassies of the five countries, said in a joint statement yesterday, Tuesday, that "the Audit Bureau is an important institution for ensuring the effective management of public finances and contributing to combating the threats of corruption and the theft of Libya's resources. We, as partners of the State of Libya, are pleased to support the work of the Audit Bureau, as it is an essential part of the Libyan state and contributes to strengthening international confidence in Libya."

The joint statement added, "We reaffirm our full support for this institution and its staff, and we emphasize the need to respect the independence and integrity of the Audit Bureau by all parties in Libya, away from any political interference from any party."
