Tunis, March 25, 2025 (LANA) - The Special Representative of the Secretary-General, Hannah Tetteh, briefed Canadian Ambassador Isabelle Savard on Monday in Tunis on her initial round of consultations in Libya and the region, with a focus on political and economic developments.

 During the meeting, Ambassador Savard pledged Canada's continued support for the mission and the Special Representative's efforts to overcome the political impasse and support the country in holding general elections.
