In his opening remarks at the forum, Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dabaiba praised the Libyan police, rejecting the smear campaigns against the Libyan police.

Dabaiba affirmed the state's support for the security institution and the Government of National Unity's commitment to continuing and developing the police force. He indicated that Libya is building professional security institutions capable of protecting the state and its citizens.

A video was also shown highlighting the police's most important activities in detecting and combating crimes, thwarting conspiracies targeting the country, and its role in ensuring the security of the nation and its citizens.
