Tripoli, March 23, 2025 (LANA) - The Prime Minister-designate of the parliament, Osama Hammad, directed the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation to coordinate with the Tunisian Consulate to make all necessary arrangements for the repatriation of the bodies of six Tunisian engineers who died in a tragic traffic accident on a work mission on the Jalu-Kufra road two days ago.
The government stated through its media office that the Protocol Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs transported the bodies to Tunisia this evening, in the presence of the Consul General of the Tunisian Republic in Benghazi and the Director and members of the Protocol Office at the Libyan Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The government offered its sincere condolences to the families of the victims, praying to God to have mercy on them.
