Tripoli, March 21, 2025 (LANA) – The Undersecretary of the Audit Bureau, Attiya Allah Al-Saiti, discussed with the Chargé d'Affaires of the Iraqi Embassy in Libya, Ahmed Al-Sahhaf, aspects of cooperation between the two sides.

This came during a meeting held on Wednesday at the guest house in Tripoli, attended by the Undersecretary's advisors.

The meeting discussed aspects of cooperation between the Libyan Audit Bureau and the Iraqi side, represented by the Federal Board of Financial Supervision in Iraq, and the possibility of concluding a cooperation agreement to exchange expertise and knowledge and develop professional capacities between the two sides.

The meeting also discussed holding training programs for oil and gas oversight and enhancing integrity and transparency in this sector, as it is one of the main and vital issues and the main source of national income.
