Tripoli Security Directorate organizes a dialogue session entitled "Security of the Capital in the Eyes of its People"

Tripoli, March 21, 2025 (LANA) - The Tripoli Security Directorate organized a dialogue session on Wednesday evening titled "Security of the Capital in the Eyes of its People," as part of its Ramadan season, "Layali Al-Khair 2025," in the Old City. The session was attended by a select group of the Directorate's leaders, a number of officers, residents, and intellectuals, to discuss security issues of concern to the capital's residents.

The session addressed "the role of the Tripoli Security Directorate in supervising the implementation of the joint security plan to secure the capital, the role of the Directorate's operations room in receiving reports, the responsibilities of security work in police stations as the primary security base, and the regulation of traffic, especially during the holy month of Ramadan. The importance of cooperation between citizens and police officers in security deployments and patrols was also emphasized to ensure enhanced security and stability in the capital."

This session comes within the framework of the Ministry of Interior's commitment to strengthening communication with citizens and activating community partnerships in supporting public security, considering security a shared responsibility, and promoting a culture of security awareness and responsibility among citizens.
