Tripoli, March 19, 2025 (LANA) - The Advisory Committee, formed by the United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL), concluded its fifth meeting on Tuesday, which lasted for three days in Tripoli.

The UN Mission explained on its official page that the Committee continued to discuss contentious issues within the electoral framework, including the essential aspects necessary to create a conducive environment for holding the elections.

According to the Mission, the Committee was tasked with reviewing the current electoral framework in Libya and proposing options to overcome obstacles to the effective implementation of the elections.
