Tripoli, March 18, 2025 (LANA) – The Special Representative of the Secretary-General, Hanna Serwaa Tetteh, exchanged views on Monday with the Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity and Acting Minister of Health, Ramadan Abu Janah, on the political process and economic and security challenges.

According to the United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL), Abu Janah provided an overview of the political, economic, peace, and security challenges facing the country, stressing the importance of engaging on issues related to economic strengthening, rational resource management, and oversight.

For her part, the Special Representative affirmed her commitment to a comprehensive process facilitated by UNSMIL to address issues of political and economic security and national reconciliation, according to UNSMIL.
