Al-Baour and the Korean ambassador discuss the necessary preparations to resume the Korean embassy’s work from Tripoli.

Tripoli, 18 March 2025 (Lana) Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Taher Al-Baour, received the Ambassador of Korea to Libya, Jang Jaehak, at the ministry's headquarters in Tripoli yesterday.
The meeting reviewed the close bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to support and develop them in various areas, contributing to strengthening cooperation and serving common interests, in addition to coordination and consultation on issues of common interest.
The two sides also discussed the necessary preparations for resuming the work of the Korean Embassy in Tripoli and ensuring the permanent presence of its staff, and this comes in light of the resumption of consular services to Libyan citizens since last year, which has contributed to advancing economic and cultural cooperation between the two countries.
