Tripoli, March 17, 2025 (LANA) - The teams of the committee tasked with assessing and evaluating the extent of damage to citizens' homes in the Al-Asabaa municipality are continuing their field work to document and assess the damage caused by the sudden fires that broke out inside homes.
The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Local Government for Municipal Affairs, head of the committee, confirmed that the teams have completed their work on 46 homes, stressing that work is still ongoing. He explained that the goal of these operations is to provide fair assistance to affected citizens and facilitate compensation procedures. He called on citizens to cooperate with the committee and provide all required information to ensure the accuracy of the assessment.
The committee, which includes a group of accounting experts from the Criminal Investigation Department and members of the Al-Asabaa Municipality's Projects Department, is conducting a thorough assessment by filling out specially prepared damage assessment forms. The aim is to provide comprehensive information on the extent of the disaster and its impact on citizens.
The assessment process includes assessing damage to the structures and foundations of homes. The committee conducts a thorough examination of the walls and roofs of damaged buildings to determine the extent of the destruction.
