Istanbul, 16 March 2025 (Lana) Special Representative of the Secretary-General for Libya, Hanna Tetteh, met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey, Hakan Fidan, in Istanbul on Friday.

The meeting discussed the most important developments related to the Libyan file, where Tetteh shared her perspective on Libya with the minister, briefing him on her recent meetings and the progress made by the Advisory Committee.

They also exchanged views on regional developments and their potential impact on Libya, emphasizing the collective responsibility of Libyan, regional, and international actors to collaborate in creating an environment conducive to the success of the political process leading to general elections as the path to sustained stability in Libya.
