Tripoli, March 12, 2025 (LANA) - The Central Bank of Libya (CBL) confirmed on Wednesday its continued provision of foreign currency for various purposes.
The CBL explained in a statement that the value of foreign currency sales executed during the period from March 1 to March 12, 2025, amounted to approximately $816 million for personal purposes and $880 million for documentary credits.
The CBL reiterated its commitment to providing foreign currency on a regular basis, meeting the needs of the local market and enhancing the stability of the national economy, while maintaining financial sustainability, assets, and foreign currency needs.
