Tripoli, March 11, 2025 (LANA) - Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Health in charge of the Government of National Unity, "Ramadan Abu Janah", discussed on Tuesday with the Chargé d'Affairs of the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq to Libya, "Ahmed Al-Sahaf", aspects of joint cooperation in the health field between the two countries.

The media office of the ministry stated that ways to enhance partnership in the health sector were discussed, including the exchange of medical expertise, cooperation in the fields of training and rehabilitation, bringing in Iraqi medical personnel to support health institutions in Libya, and the possibility of signing bilateral agreements aimed at developing health services and improving their quality.

Abu Janah stressed during the meeting the Ministry of Health's keenness to enhance cooperation with various countries and benefit from successful experiences in the health sector, which contributes to raising the efficiency of the health system and improving the quality of services provided to citizens.
