Al-Koni meets the undersecretary of the Audit Bureau.

Tripoli, 11 March 2025 (Lana) Deputy of the Presidential Council, Musa Al-Koni, met yesterday with the Deputy of the Audit Bureau, Atiya Allah Abdul Karim, and a number of the Bureau's advisors.

The communication office of the Council stated that ”Atiya” briefed "Al-Koni" about the work of the Bureau and the reports it recently issued as part of its follow-up of the work of government institutions.

The office explained that Al-Koni commended the Bureau’s efforts to assume oversight tasks related to reviewing the accounts of the entities subject to its oversight funded by the public treasury.

According to the office, the meeting discussed the latest developments in the situation in Libya and the vision of the Deputy to work with the three-region system in executive governorates with equal budgets to reduce financial and administrative corruption, in a step aimed at achieving stability and development to preserve the unity of Libya and to ease the burden on the capital, which has become an arena for political conflicts due to the presence of the central authority within its borders.
