Al-Koni discusses with the Iraqi Chargé d'Affaires the possibility of benefiting from the Iraqi experience in supporting stability in Libya

Monday, March 10, 2025 (LANA) - Deputy of the Presidential Council "Musa Al-Koni" discussed today, Monday, with the Chargé d'Affairs of the Iraqi Embassy in Libya "Ahmed Al-Sahaf" the historical relations that bind the two brotherly peoples and ways to develop them in many fields.

The meeting, which was held in Tripoli, discussed the latest developments in the situation in Libya at various levels and the efforts of the Presidential Council aimed at achieving stability.

"Al-Sahaf" reviewed before "Al-Koni" the Iraqi experience and the efforts made by successive governments to achieve stability in Iraq by overcoming crises and facing challenges to achieve a more secure and prosperous future.

Deputy of the Presidential Council "Musa Al-Koni" praised the state of stability witnessed by the Republic of Iraq recently and its return to practicing its pivotal role at the regional and international levels.

The Chargé d'Affairs of the Republic of Iraq in Libya appreciated "Al-Koni's" vision regarding the return to work on the three-region system in governorates as an executive authority to ensure stability in all regions of Libya and preserve its unity.

Al-Koni considered the Iraqi experience a model that can be used to support stability and establish the foundations of peace in Libya.
