Tripoli, March 10, 2025 (LANA) - The head of the Supreme Judicial Council, Counselor "Miftah Al-Qawi", discussed today during his meeting with the UN envoy to Libya "Hanna Tetteh" ways to enhance joint cooperation between Libyan and international judicial authorities.

The meeting, which was held at the council's headquarters in Tripoli, witnessed in-depth discussions on ways to develop the judicial system in Libya, where mechanisms for exchanging expertise and activating coordination mechanisms were reviewed to ensure the provision of judicial services that meet the requirements of justice and the rule of law.

"Hanna Tetteh" said during the meeting that international support constitutes a fundamental pillar for achieving the expected reforms in the judicial system, stressing the need to work together with all concerned parties to overcome the obstacles that hinder the progress of the judicial process in the country.

For his part, "Al-Qawi" expressed his optimism about the future of joint cooperation, stressing that constructive dialogue and intensified cooperation with the UN envoy will contribute to building a more transparent and efficient judicial system that serves the interests of citizens.
