Tripoli, March 6, 2025 (LANA) - The Minister of Interior, Imad Trabelsi, discussed with the head of the United Nations mission, "Hanna Tetteh", a number of security files.

The Ministry of Interior stated that the two sides reviewed during a meeting held today the latest developments in the work of the Ministry of Interior and its efforts in implementing its security plan, and the achievements made on the ground.

The ministry added that "Trabelsi" stressed during the meeting the negative repercussions of illegal immigration on Libya and the Mediterranean countries, stressing the importance of the United Nations mission's support for the ministry's efforts in the voluntary repatriation program for migrants, and providing the necessary support to address this vital file.
