Tripoli, March 05, 2025 (LANA) - The United Nations Support Mission in Libya said that the Special Representative of the Secretary-General, "Hanna Serwaa Tetteh", confirmed the mission's readiness to provide technical support to the Ministry of Justice in the Government of National Unity in the areas of enhancing the effectiveness of the justice sector and ensuring its responsiveness to the current needs and political context in the country. 

The mission explained on its official page today, Wednesday, that "Tetteh" met yesterday with the Minister of Justice, Judge "Halima Abdel Rahman" to discuss the human rights situation and detention conditions in Libya, as well as opportunities to enhance the administration of justice and the role of the ministry in transitional justice.
