Tripoli, March 4, 2025 (LANA) - The Chairman of the National Oil Corporation, "Masoud Suleiman", discussed during his meeting yesterday, Monday, with the Head of the United Nations Support Mission in Libya, "Hanna Tetteh", the efforts aimed at developing the sector and increasing production rates.
The meeting, which was held at the headquarters of the corporation in Tripoli, reviewed the broad outlines of the corporation's ambitious plans to develop the oil sector in the country and expand sustainable development projects in areas adjacent to oil sites throughout Libya.
The meeting also discussed strengthening the independence of the corporation and its affiliated companies, and keeping them away from any differences, or political or spatial disputes, that may pose a threat to the distinguished performance it achieves, and the impressive results resulting from it, most notably increasing production rates of crude oil and gas, which bodes well for more economic stability for Libyans than ever before.
