Al-Abed participates in the 102nd session of the Arab Labor Organization in Cairo.

Cairo, February 28, 2025 (LANA) - Minister of Labor and Rehabilitation in the Government of National Unity "Ali Al-Abed" headed the Libyan delegation in the meetings of the 102nd session of the Board of Directors of the Arab Labor Organization, which started yesterday, Thursday, in Cairo.
According to a post by the Ministry of Labor on its official page today, Friday, the session discussed several major issues in its meeting yesterday, Thursday, including the latest developments in the Palestinian issue, where participants condemned the Israeli practices targeting the displacement of the residents of the Gaza Strip, and reviewed the financial oversight reports of the Arab Labor Office, which stressed the importance of enhancing transparency in financial management.
The meetings of this session also discussed the project of the entrepreneurship strategy, which aims to stimulate emerging Arab economies and support entrepreneurs in the region.
The participants praised Al-Abed's initiative calling for Palestine to be represented in the list of Arab entrepreneurs, as a symbolic step that enhances support for Palestinian rights.
It is noteworthy that the meetings of this session were also attended by the Director-General of the Organization, representatives of the League of Arab States, and the Ministers of Labor from Egypt and Qatar, in addition to representatives of employers' and workers' organizations.
