Tripoli, February 28, 2025 (LANA) - The Ministry of Environment organized a campaign to plant the Ghout al-Romman Forest on the occasion of the Environmental Day.
The ministry announced the transformation of the Ghout al-Romman Forest into a nature reserve under the supervision of the Environmental Affairs Control in Tajora, as part of efforts to protect the environmental heritage.
The event aims to protect the forest from encroachments, reduce tree cutting operations, and maintain its cleanliness, confirming the national commitment to sustainable development and the preservation of natural resources.
