Istanbul, February 28, 2025 (LANA) - Minister of State for Communication and Political Affairs Walid Al-Lafi stressed that the Migration Forum hosted by the capital, Tripoli, reflected the role that Libya can play in managing regional and international files, including the file of combating illegal immigration.

Al-Lafi said in a speech he delivered today, Friday, at the opening of the Turkish-African Media Forum in Istanbul in the presence of an elite group of officials and experts from Turkey and Africa, "The forum, which witnessed the participation of leaders from Africa and Europe and more than forty regional and international organizations, represented an important step in strengthening international dialogue on the challenges of migration by focusing on sustainable solutions instead of limiting itself to narrow security treatments.
