Asphalt paving works continue on Ubari-Ghat Road

Ghat 27 February 2025 (LANA) - The asphalt paving works of the Ubari-Ghat road, which extends for 350 km, continue as part of the efforts to develop the road infrastructure in the southern region.
Sources of the Projects Implementation and Transport Authority stated that the project is being implemented by a coalition of Egyptian companies, under the supervision of the Main Roads Projects Department of the Projects Implementation and Transport Authority, as the work in this phase includes the first sector - site No. (1).
The project aims to improve the quality of roads, facilitate movement, and enhance traffic safety, which contributes to supporting economic development and logistical services in the region.
