(Abu Janah) inspects Al-Asabaa General Hospital to follow up on the health situation

Tripoli, February 27, 2025 (LANA) - Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity and Minister of Health in charge, Ramadan Abu Janah, visited Al-Asabaa General Hospital yesterday, Wednesday, to assess the current health situation and assess the hospital's needs to ensure the continuity of providing medical services to citizens.

During the visit, which was attended by the head of the National Safety Authority, Major General Othman Mlegta, and a number of officials, the minister inspected the hospital's various departments and reviewed the progress of work and the readiness of medical staff to deal with any emergency, listening to reports on the most prominent difficulties facing the hospital, especially with regard to the shortage of medical supplies and equipment.

Abu Janah stressed that the ministry, upon the recommendations of the Prime Minister, is closely following the current situation in the city, stressing the need to harness all capabilities to support the hospital, including providing urgent medical supplies, strengthening medical staff, and supporting ambulance and emergency services to ensure the provision of necessary health care to citizens under these circumstances.
