(Al-Sayeh) informs (Al-Koni) about the readiness to implement the municipal council elections

Tripoli, February 27, 2025 (LANA) - Deputy of the Presidential Council, Musa Al-Koni, discussed with the Chairman of the High National Elections Commission, Imad Al-Sayeh, yesterday, Wednesday, ways to support the electoral process, and the level of readiness of the Commission to implement the municipal council elections "Group Two".

During this meeting, Al-Sayeh briefed "Al-Koni" on the readiness to implement the municipal council elections, and the challenges facing them practically and technically, praising at the same time the efforts of the Presidential Council in supporting the political process, to conduct the elections in a smooth manner.

In turn, "Al-Koni" expressed his appreciation for the efforts made by the Commission to complete the municipal council elections, and stressed the continued support of the Presidential Council for the Commission, which enhances its readiness, and creates an appropriate climate to ensure the success of the integrity and transparency of the elections, which contributes to achieving stability and development in all regions of Libya.

During the meeting, which was held at the Commission's office in the presence of the member of the Commission's Council, "Abu Bakr Marda", it was agreed to continue holding meetings periodically in this regard.
