Al-Lafi reviews with the Chargé d'Affaires of the Iraqi Embassy in Libya the bilateral relations between the two countries

Tripoli - February 25, 2025 (LANA) - Deputy of the Presidential Council "Abdullah Al-Lafi" reviewed today, Tuesday, with the Chargé d'Affairs of the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq to Libya "Ahmed Nema Al-Sahaf" the bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries, and the developments of the political process in Libya.

The Presidential Council stated that "Al-Lafi" welcomed the Chargé d'Affairs, stressing the depth of the historical relations that unite the two brotherly peoples, praising the return of the Iraqi embassy to perform its diplomatic role, and the resumption of its consular services from Tripoli.

For his part, "Ahmed Nema Al-Sahaf" praised the efforts of the Presidential Council in supporting the stability of the political path in Libya, and his country's support for this path until Libya crosses the stage of stability, prosperity and construction.
