Dabaiba discusses with Qatari Prime Minister in Doha enhancing cooperation in investment and strategic projects

Doha, February 25, 2025 (LANA) - The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Prime Minister of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, received today, Tuesday, the Head of the Government of National Unity, Abdul Hamid Al Dabaiba, and his accompanying delegation, in the capital, Doha, as part of an official visit by Al Dabaiba to the State of Qatar.

The meeting discussed ways to enhance bilateral cooperation in the fields of investment and strategic projects, and reviewed the progress made in implementing joint projects according to the plans agreed upon between the two countries.

The two sides discussed ways to develop air traffic between the two countries within the framework of supporting the civil aviation sector and enhancing air connectivity.

The meeting also addressed enhancing cooperation in the field of media and media training in a way that contributes to developing national capabilities in this vital sector. Views were also exchanged on regional and international issues of common interest, stressing the importance of continuous coordination and consultation to serve stability and development in the region.

The Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity is accompanied on the visit by the Minister of Transport and Communications, Mohammed Al-Shahoubi, the Minister of State for Communication and Political Affairs, Walid Al-Lafi, the Chairman of the Libyan Investment Authority, Ali Mahmoud, the Chairman of the Executive Team for Presidential Initiatives and Strategic Projects, Mustafa Al-Manea, and the National Security Advisor, Ibrahim Al-Dabaiba.
