Al-Baour discusses with the Somali Foreign Minister prospects for cooperation between the two countries

Tripoli - February 23, 2025 (LANA) - The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Government of National Unity, "Taher Al-Baour", reviewed today, Sunday, at the ministry's headquarters in the capital, Tripoli, with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Federal Republic of Somalia, "Ahmed Maalim Faqi", who is visiting Libya as part of an official working visit, the prospects of cooperation between the two countries.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the two sides discussed during the working session the prospects of cooperation between Libya and the Federal Republic of Somalia and ways to enhance bilateral relations to serve the common interests of the two brotherly countries. They also discussed developments on the Arab and African arenas, and exchanged views on the challenges facing the region.
It added that the two sides stressed the importance of intensifying coordination and consultation in regional and international forums
