Tripoli, February 22, 2025 (LANA) - The Deputy of the Presidential Council, Musa Al-Koni, awarded the Good Work Medal, which is awarded for the first time since 2011, to the Director General of the Eye Hospital, Dr. Rania Al-Khoja, in recognition of the efforts she and the medical teams affiliated with the hospital provided in terms of distinguished medical services that contributed to the treatment of tens of thousands of eye patients in all regions of Libya.

Dr. Rania Al-Khoja expressed her happiness at being awarded the medal, which she considered the result of collective efforts by the hospital workers in their various specialties, and a moral boost to exert more effort.

For his part, Al-Koni stressed that Dr. Al-Khoja's leadership of the Eye Hospital with the spirit of one team was something that major institutions failed to achieve, in addition to her contribution to localizing the treatment of eye patients domestically.

The awarding of the medal came during Al-Koni's visit today, Sunday, to the Eye Hospital in Tripoli and his inspection of the medical departments accompanied by Dr. Al-Khoja and the hospital officials, during which he was briefed on the services provided to patients around the clock.

The Deputy of the Presidential Council, "Musa Al-Koni" expressed his admiration for the quality of medical services using the latest technologies in treating eye diseases.
