Signing a MoU between the Russian Businessmen Association and the General Federation of Chambers of Commerce in Libya.

Benghazi, 23 February 2025 (Lana): The Libyan-Russian Economic Forum, which is supervised and organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the government assigned by Parliament in partnership with the General Federation of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, and Agriculture and the Benghazi Chamber of Commerce, kicked off yesterday in Benghazi.
The forum’s opening ceremony, which was attended by a group of businessmen and officials of a number of companies and institutions from Russia, aims to create new partnerships of cooperation between the Libyan and Russian sides, as well as to review and discuss a number of priority issues, such as diversifying sources of income and supporting the public and private sectors.
At the end of the forum's activities, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the Russian Businessmen Association and the General Federation of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, and Agriculture in Libya.
It is noteworthy that the forum witnessed the participation of representatives of the Ministry of Economy, the Investment Promotion Authority, the Ministry of Technical Education, the Benghazi Chamber of Commerce and Industry Association, the Businessmen Association of the Russia, a group of Libyan businessmen, and a number of major Russian companies.
