Tripoli, 20 February 2025 (Lana) Minister of Sports, "Abdul Shafi Al-Juwaifi," discussed with the Japanese Ambassador to Libya, Shimmura Izuru, ways to strengthen the partnership between the two countries.

During a meeting held at the ministry's headquarters, the ministry stated that the two parties stressed the depth of relations between the two countries.

The ministry added that the meeting reviewed different aspects of bilateral cooperation between Libya and Japan in sports area.

The meeting also discussed cooperation in the areas of training and capacity building with the aim of qualifying Libyan cadres and benefiting from the Japanese expertise in the sports sector.
