The Arab Group in New York to Guterres: We reject the displacement of Palestinians.

New York, 19 February 2025 (Lana) The Arab Group, including Libya, expressed its unified position in New York, rejecting the displacement of Palestinians.

This came during the meeting held by the Arab Group, headed by Kuwait, this month with the Secretary-General of the United Nations, Antonio Guterres, in New York.

Libya's Permanent Representative to the UN, Taher E-Sunni, said in a tweet today, ”An important meeting between the Secretary-General and the Arab Group, headed by Kuwait, this month, during which the unified position and absolute rejection of all attempts at forced displacement of Palestinians, whether from Gaza or the West Bank, were emphasized, as it is ethnic cleansing and a war crime.”
