Libyan-Emirati talks on ways to enhance security cooperation and confront current challenges

Tripoli, February 16, 2025 (LANA) - The UAE Minister of Interior, Sheikh "Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan", discussed with his Libyan counterpart, Major General "Imad Al-Trabelsi", ways to enhance security cooperation between the two countries.
"Al Nahyan" said in a tweet he posted on his account on the "X" website that the meeting, which was held on the sidelines of the 42nd session of the Council of Arab Interior Ministers in Tunisia, discussed ways to enhance security and police cooperation within the framework of the joint keenness to consolidate the foundations of security and stability in Libya.
He also stressed that his discussions with "Al-Trabelsi" discussed the importance of coordination and unification of Arab efforts to confront current challenges, in a way that contributes to building a more stable and prosperous future for our societies, based on a firm belief that security is the main pillar of development and progress.
