Coordination and consultation on African issues is the focus of Al-Baour’s talks with Senegal’s Foreign Minister

Addis Ababa, February 11, 2025 (LANA) - The Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, "Taher Al-Baour", held talks today with the Senegalese Foreign Minister, "Yassin Fall", on ways to enhance cooperation between the two countries in various areas of common interest.

The talks - which took place in the capital, Addis Ababa, in preparation for participating in the (46) regular session of the Executive Council of the African Union, which will be held on February 12 and 13 - dealt with coordinating joint efforts and exchanging support in continental and international positions, reflecting the two countries' commitment to strengthening joint diplomatic work at the regional and international levels.

The two sides also discussed the items on the agenda of the 46th regular session of the Executive Council of the African Union, stressing the importance of coordination and consultation on priority files on the continent.
