Tripoli - February 11, 2025 (LANA) - The Undersecretary of the Audit Bureau "Attiyat Allah Hussein Abdul Karim" discussed today, Tuesday, with the Chairman of the Bureau of the National Anti-Corruption Commission in the Western Region "Ismail Qurinat" the aspects of cooperation and joint coordination between the Bureau and the Commission.
The Audit Bureau said, that the meeting, which was held at the headquarters of the Bureau in the Guest Palaces, discussed the aspects of cooperation and joint coordination between the Bureau and the National Anti-Corruption Commission in a number of topics related to the oversight work, including the issue of filling the financial statement of the Bureau's members and employees.
The meeting also discussed developing joint working mechanisms in a number of priority files and ways to implement them, in addition to the necessity of activating the national strategy to combat corruption concerned with all oversight agencies, and updating the members of the national anti-corruption team consisting of oversight agencies.
