NOC discusses projects of a number of companies.

Tripoli, 11 February 2025 (Lana)—The National Oil Corporation (NOC) discussed during a series of meetings the targeted projects of the Libyan Technology, Harouge, North Africa, and the Petroleum Institute for Rehabilitation and Training for 2025 and the proposed budgets for their implementation.

During these meetings that were held at the NOC’s headquarters in Tripoli yesterday, the achievements of these companies during the last year were reviewed.

The Libyan Technology Company provided engineering studies and consultations to the sector's companies, and the Harouge Company recorded record production rates, while the Institute graduated 259 technical trainees, and the North Africa Company succeeded in completing its equipment (mixers and a recording system).

The Corporation's Board of Directors presented its recommendations, including localizing the work of the Libyan Technology Company, focusing on projects to increase and sustain production, resuming production at the Al-Ghani field affiliated with the Harouge Company, and emphasizing the importance of maintaining the institute's system and independence to ensure the graduation of cadres that contribute to the development of the oil sector.

The meetings were attended by the heads and members of the management committees of the companies and the institute, general managers, department managers, and a group of specialists from the institution, the concerned companies, and the institute.
