Al-Manfi participates in the 42nd session of the African Union Development Agency

Tripoli, February 10, 2025 - The Chairman of the Presidential Council, "Mohamed Al-Manfi", participated today, Monday, in the 42nd session of the Committee of Heads of State and Government for the Steering of the African Union Development Agency - NEPAD.

The regular annual virtual meeting was attended by the Egyptian President "Abdel Fattah El-Sisi", the current Chairman of the Committee, the Mauritanian President, "Mohamed Ould Cheikh El-Ghazwani", Chairman of the African Union, the Chairperson of the African Union Commission, "Moussa Faki", the President of Chad, "Mahamat Idriss Deby", the current Chairman of the Sahel-Saharan Community, the Executive Director of the Agency, Ms. "Nardos Bekele", and a number of other heads of state and governments of the member states of the Committee, and the President of the African Development Bank.

This virtual meeting comes to follow up on the Agency's implementation plans for the Africa 2063 Development Agenda, in response to the aspirations of the African peoples for a prosperous and secure future.

It is noteworthy that the African Union Development Agency - NEPAD, is the development arm of the African Union that implements a number of development projects and programs in the African Union countries and improves the quality of education and training and the absorption of modern technologies in coordination with international partners.
