Spain stresses the importance of strengthening relations with Libya.

Tripoli, 10 February 2025 (Lana)—Spain stressed the importance of strengthening the bilateral relations with Libya and resuming direct flights between Tripoli and Madrid.
This came during the meeting with the Director of the European Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Abu Bakr Al-Tawil, today, in Tripoli, with the Ambassador of Spain to Libya, Javier Soria.
The two parties expressed their aspiration and commitment to advance and strengthen joint cooperation between the two friendly people and stressed the importance of exchanging visits of delegations for bilateral consultations between the two countries, especially delegations in the economic area, and discussing the ongoing preparations for holding the Spanish-Libyan Forum hosted by Spain during April 2025.
