Community Partnership Benghazi and the Libyan National Peace Assembly hold a consultative session.
Pulbished on:Benghazi, February 7, 2025 (LANA) - Community Partnership Benghazi, in cooperation with the Libyan National Peace Assembly, held a consultative session dedicated to discussing the National Peace Charter for Elections, in which a group of officials, activists, and representatives of civil society participated.
The session aims to enhance social peace during the electoral process, and ensure a safe democratic environment that respects pluralism and freedom of choice.
The discussions focused on the importance of community awareness of the role of elections in achieving stability and sustainable development.
The head of the Community Partnership explained to the Libyan News Agency that the session comes within a series of activities that the Community Partnership is preparing for regarding the elections, as the National Peace Charter, which was drafted, was presented to the wise men, sheikhs, and activists for review and the possibility of introducing amendments to it.
She pointed out that this session is the second in a series of meetings on the document, stressing the call for activists of both genders to ensure that the electoral process proceeds in a fair and transparent manner during the next stage.
