US Embassy: AFRICOM Deputy Commander Meets Saddam Haftar in Sirt, Visits 5+5 Committee Headquarters

Sirte, February 7, 2025 (LANA) - The US Embassy in Libya said that the Deputy Commander of the US Africa Command (AFRICOM), Lieutenant General Brennan and Brigadier General "Kravori" met on their first visit to the city of Sirt, yesterday, Thursday, with Lieutenant General "Saddam Haftar" from the Libyan National Army to discuss security cooperation between the United States and Libya.

"Brennan" and "Kravori" also visited - according to what the embassy published on its account on the (X) platform - the headquarters of the Joint Military Committee (5+5) where they were briefed on the committee's efforts to maintain the ceasefire agreement and achieve military and security unity.
