Al-Haddad meets with AFRICOM Commander.

Tripoli, February 5, 2025 (LANA) - The Chief of Staff of the Libyan Army, Lieutenant General "Mohamed Al-Haddad", met today, Wednesday, in Tripoli, with the Deputy Commander of the US Africa Command (AFRICOM), Lieutenant General "John Brennan", and the Chargé d'Affaires of the US Embassy "Jeremy Brent", and their accompanying delegation, in the presence of the Deputy Chief of General Staff, Lieutenant General Salah Al-Din Al-Namroush.

According to the General Staff, Al-Haddad praised the depth of relations between the two countries, and their support for the steps towards unifying the military institution, to achieve a secure future characterized by economic prosperity and regional stability.

During the meeting, bilateral cooperation between Libya and the United States of America was discussed, and a number of joint training programs were implemented to raise the efficiency of the elements of the Libyan army, in addition to raising many topics of common interest, which would enhance security and stability throughout the country, according to the General Staff.
